报告人简介：Bruno Lévy is a senior researcher in INRIA Nancy Grand-Est and the LORIA lab. He is the head of the ALICE project team. His research topic is "numerical geometry", that is to say inventing new algorithms for acquiring, transforming and optimizing the representation of 3D shapes based on a combination of applied mathematics, computer data structures and geometrical computations. His main contributions comprise several automatic UV texture mapping algorithms used by some popular 3D modeling software, and a meshing algorithm based on an analytical characterization of centroial Voronoi tesselations. Bruno Lévy was program co-chair of ACM SPM 2007, ACM SPM 2008 and ACM/EG SGP 2010. He is associate editor of Graphical Models and IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics .
